Fitting Instruction, Wheelie Bin Covers

Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure the best possible finish when applying your wheelie bin cover.

Step 1: Prepare the Bin

Clean the outside surface of the wheelie bin thoroughly with warm soapy water. Remove all dirt, grease, or residue.

 Allow the surface to dry completely before continuing.

Step 2: Start Peeling the Sheet

Peel back approximately 15 cm of the vinyl sheet from the backing paper to expose the adhesive surface.

Step 3: Position the Sheet

Align the exposed section of the sheet onto the bin.
Slowly peel back the remaining backing paper while pressing the sheet firmly into place.

Step 4: Remove Air Bubbles

Using the supplied squeegee, smooth the sheet onto the bin surface.
Work from the center outward to remove air bubbles and ensure even adhesion.

Step 5: Trim the Edges

Using a pair of scissors, carefully trim the vinyl around the bin ribs and edges for a neat finish.

Step 6: Repeat and Seal

Repeat Steps 1–5 for each side of the bin until fully covered.
Once complete, wipe down the surface with a hot cloth to seal the vinyl and improve adhesion.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Apply only to a clean, dry surface.

• Do not attempt application in wet or extremely cold weather.

• Take care when trimming to avoid damage to the vinyl or bin.
